😍📝 We all have a 'dream' shopping list don't we?! 📝😍

Well ours contains items we would LOVE for our children's groups (and adults groups!) to enjoy... big colourful, comfy bean bags, sports equipment, paint pens, crafting tools and so much more! As a self funded charity the list goes on as we are sure you can imagine.

We can't tell you how grateful we are to those who are able to donate to us. The most common question we get asked when people want to donate is...
💬 'What would you like?' or
💬 'what do you need'?

So we are sharing our Amazon Wish List with those who would like to donate something specific to the Community Centre and can see where it will be used and enjoyed!

Simply visit our Amazon Wish List link here:

Thank you so so much for always wanting to support our lovely Community Centre 💜

Our lovely Community Centre is completely self funded and our small team works hard to provide a super fun and safe Playscheme free of charge for 80 children in our community every year!

We wish we could offer a place to every child however we are sure you can understand that places are limited to due to space, staff, volunteers and funding.

What happens next? 🧐

Our small team are working hard to process all completed and returned forms and offer spaces on a strictly first come, first served basis to make it as fair as possible.

If your child has a space you will receive an email no later than Monday 16th of June.

Unfortunately if you haven't receive an email by this date it means we haven't been able to offer your child a place.

Thank you as always for your support of Newton Community Centre

We have some AMAZING news!

Due to some funding from Wargrave Big Local and some raised by our lovely supporters we are able to start some major work in our Community Garden, with half of it being partially paved along with a DDA compliant ramp and handrail to make it totally accessible for all our Community.

There will be A LOT of mess so please bear us as our garden will NOT be open during the period of the renovations. We will also need to reserve car parking spaces for the equipment which will be on site.

It should be totally finished by the time of our Summer Fair on 21st June so watch this space......

🌍 Recycling Volunteer Needed! 🌍

We do our best not to throw away anything that can be recycled, but we're struggling to keep up with taking our recyclable waste to the tip. (Recyclable waste isn't collected for free from Charities and we sadly don't have the funding to arrange a private collection each week)

We're looking for a kind-hearted volunteer who wouldn't mind helping us to recycle once a week or so, by collecting our recycling bags and taking them to the tip.

All items are washed and organized into the correct containers (plastics, cardboard, etc.), It would simply be a case of collecting it from us and recycling it at the tip. 🌱♻️

If you have a bit of spare time once a week if you are passing, please reach out! Your help would be greatly appreciated 🙏💚

Thank you!
Picture
Last year we asked for your feedback on what you would like to see here at Newton Community Centre.
We are happy to say we have been working hard at making some of these happen!

And so on top of our usual weekly classes, groups and activities, we will also have more to offer in 2025!

From Cheerleading, British Sign Language and more language classes... watch this space for more details soon!
