Welcome to Newton-le-Willows Family and Community Association
​​Set up over 30 years ago by local Volunteers our fabulous Community Centre has gone from strength to strength to provide a welcoming and friendly safe haven to our Community.

​As well as training courses we also run exercise classes, craft clubs, Women’s/Men’s Groups, Children’s Groups and of course, our wonderful Community Events such as Christmas Community Breakfast, Halloween Party, Christmas Fair, Tea Dances…. Anything and everything that can bring our Community together.

Each month we host a lovely get-together here at Newton Community Centre ☕

The get-together is for those caring for family members with a diagnosis of Dementia. It is a chance to chat to other people in a similar situation to you, in a friendly space over a brew!

We also have the @Alzheimerssociety attend to answer any questions you may have.

You don't need to book, you can just turn up!

Newton Community Centre have teamed up with Bracrafts - a wonderful initiative with teams of crafters who craft beautiful items which are then sold to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Charities!

Simply drop your unwanted and unloved bras in our Bra Box at reception!

A polite little note from the NCC team:

At Newton Community Centre we pride ourselves on our doors always being open and the kettle always being on!

We love our visitors so much, catching up with them at reception and helping everyone with their needs - it's what we do best and this will never change ❤️

However, there is always lots of work and planning that goes on behind the scenes in the office to keep our lovely Community Centre running smoothly. Our staff team have their own workload, projects and meetings etc. that we sometimes need time to focus on to make sure it continues to be the place we all know and love.

From time to time, and only when our lovely volunteers are on shift at reception, you may see the inside of the office looking a little different with our Mamma Mia-esque partition! We want to let you all know; we aren't being rude - the team are simply focussing on getting some work done for our wonderful Community.

Our volunteers on shift at reception are always happy to help with your queries, take phone calls and message and help you with photocopying etc.

Thank you for understanding and support of our lovely NCC.
Tuesday was #SuicidePreventionDay - A great opportunity to raise awareness of Suicide and how it is always okay to talk about it! Newton Community Centre are joining our wonderfully supportive Community in helping to #ChangeTheNarrative and #GetStHelensTalking 💜

A reminder that our Childrens afterschool club 'CLUB426' has broken up for the Summer now.

We have had soooo much fun with the children and hope all of them have an amazing summer! ☀️

We will return for a new term on Thursday 15th September. Please note ALL children will need to re-register: Registration forms available from the 2nd August by popping into the centre or emailing Nicola on [email protected] from this date.

Our bracrafter Geraldine has lots of bras to be working with for now and so we have been asked to put a pause on donations.
